••Brian Kluge•• Biography

Brian Kluge is a sculptor who was born and raised in southern Wisconsin. Kluge received a Bachelor of Science degree in art education from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and has recently completed his final year of the Master of Fine Arts program at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. In the time between earning these degrees, he also served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in rural Malawi and taught art in public schools. In addition to numerous exhibitions in Madison, Wisconsin and Lincoln, Nebraska, Kluge has created site-specific environmental installations and coordinated art happenings. During his time at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, Brian was an instructor of record for two years and will be teaching an undergraduate ceramics course this summer. Beginning in August, Kluge will begin a pair of residencies. The first is a short-term residency at the LUX Center for the Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska.
