Ray Tomasso Jr.

Tomasso attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha during the 1970's studying under Sidney Buchanan (sculpture), Wayne Higby (ceramics), Tom Majeski (printmaking) and Peter Hill (painting). From 1969 to 1971 was a recipient of the Bertha Megendohlt Hatz Art Scholarship Award. In 1979 he received his Masters in Fine Arts in printmaking by the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Tomasso works as a professional fine artist and proprietor of his Inter-Ocean Curiosity Studio which he founded in 1985. He is also a founding member of the International Association of Hand Papermakers and Paper Artists headquartered in Muttenz, Switzerland. In 2011-12 he exhibited his works at the Norlin library at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
