Bart Vargas: ICONS

November 13th - December 4th, 2021

ICONS is a celebration of Vargas’ use of color, pattern and form through paintings and ceramics. This ten year retrospective of Vargas’ work consists primarily of his MANDALA painting series, and the AMALGAMATED POP-CULTURE CERAMIC SCULPTURE series that have exhibited across the country and region, won awards, graced book covers, but have previously not been exhibited at Anderson O'Brien. With this exhibition, AOB and Vargas reflect on his National and International career, and their fourteen years of working together.
